Hull City Council is keen to understand the impacts and how we can support businesses through the current difficulties as well as when the lockdown ends and business is able to open up and return to normal. We are therefore seeking feedback from all businesses in Hull to understand the impact that Covid-19 has had on their operations so that we can get a comprehensive picture of the issues faced and whether the support that has been put in place is meeting the immediate needs.
The survey, which we will be the first in a series focused on business issues and concerns, is focused on helping us to build up a baseline of current situation - whether businesses are open, closed, have furloughed staff along with identifying those businesses which have been most affected. The results of the survey will also help us to understand how Government grants and support schemes are helping, and identify opportunities where businesses will need support going forwards.
